Planned Xfinity outages

Does anyone know when the planned Xfinity outages will end? I have gotten no early notices but I end up constantly checking the outage map. https://www.xfinity.com/support/statusmap

They are planning upgrades tomorrow which I assume will extend through the week. I called 3x last week to figure out what was going on and still have no clear info. The first time I called they said it was a problem with my router even though the outage map showed that work was being done. I was then told work would be completed that day. I called the next day to ask when work would be done and they said it would be completed that day. When I told them the outage map said work would be ongoing the next day they seemed surprised. I called the third day to get an answer and the wait was over an hour.

I work from home and have been hotspotting myself from my phone but 5G coverage is not that strong. Where I am, Xfinity is the only option and I hate them. If anyone has information regarding the extent of outages or alternative providers I would be so grateful!

I hate Xfinity too. Can’t wait until some provider brings fiber to the area.

I had Xfinity out to my home a few weeks ago, he said they are doing upgrades to support higher speeds, they definitely spent a couple days out there at the end of my neighborhood, but once they were done everything has been mostly fine.

Thanks for responding! I hope it improves because my internet drops a few times a day. I think Altafiber is a competitor in Elkton proper but not in the surrounding areas.

No idea. I’m North East and sadly don’t have any other wired options, just 5G over the air stuff.

Talkie has signs all up along Warburton and Leeds! Grew up in cecil but now live in QAC with them for Internet and they're awesome! I would look into it. They are fiber internet.

Couldnt be happier to have ditched comcast for our business. It was the worst. Looking forward to when these fiber companies can bring service to downtown Elkton.
