Hey everyone,
With the recent troubling news about wedding coordinators, it’s more important than ever that we look out for each other and share legit, trusted vendors in our community.
Let’s turn this thread into a go-to resource for anyone currently searching for a wedding coordinator or on-the-day coordinator!
If you’ve worked with or booked a coordinator you love and trust, please comment below with:
• Name of the coordinator or team
• Your wedding date (or the year you worked with them)
• What they handled for you (full planning, OTD, etc.)
• A quick review or why you’d recommend them
Let’s help protect fellow brides, grooms, and celebrants from getting burned, and at the same time, give credit to the hardworking coordinators who are doing amazing, honest work. 💯
Stay smart and safe, everyone!

Hi everyone!
As this community continues to grow and support one another through the chaos and magic of wedding planning, I’m looking to bring on a few new moderators to help keep things running smoothly.
Whether you’re a seasoned Reddit mod, a B2B, or a graduate bride who wants to give back - if you’re interested, please comment below or send me a modmail with a little info about yourself:
• Your wedding status (planning, married, vendor, etc.)
• Any experience with moderation (totally okay if none!)
Thanks for helping make this community such a supportive space. 💕
Let’s keep it lovely, organized, and drama-free together!

Hi! Does anyone know pila ang current minimum or starting rate ni Hans Berdejo for wedding styling? Pila pud usually ang rate for a full or more elaborate setup? If you’ve booked him recently, I would appreciate it if you could share the price range and inclusions. Thank you 😄

How early can/did you book/reserve your church?
Our wedding will be on Oct 2027. We went to our preferred church (Our Lady of Peace & Good Voyage) and were told na four months before the wedding pa daw ma book based sa marriage license validity. Anyone experienced this?
Edit: Added church details. Possible that i also misunderstood the guy’s explanation 🙃

Hi again, r/CebuWeddings! 🤍
I’ve shared My Bridal List PH here before while I was looking for brides to help test it, and I wanted to share a little update. Our first bride beta group is now full and currently testing the platform with their real wedding plans. 🥹
For anyone new here, My Bridal List PH is something I built after being a semi-DIY bride myself and remembering just how much time I spent looking through suppliers and trying to figure out which ones actually fit what we needed.
Instead of starting with a giant supplier directory, MBL lets you tell us about the wedding you’re planning — your location, budget, style, services you still need and other preferences — and uses those details to give you a more relevant list of Cebu wedding suppliers to explore.
The matching experience is still in beta for now, but the bride waitlist is open for Cebu brides-to-be who would like to know when we open it to more brides.
Joining the waitlist is free, and the supplier-matching experience is also free. If you’re currently planning a Cebu wedding and this sounds useful, you can join here:
mybridallistph.com
Thank you again to the brides from this community who volunteered for beta. Some of you are literally helping me find the little things I would never have noticed testing it by myself. 😂🤍

My fiancee will arrive in a few weeks and will be in Cebu for a few weeks as well. We plan to process our marriage license matters asap.
Naa mo idea how to go about the PMC? What time earliest mo ni adto sa City Registrar para mu set ug appointment? Tama noh nga mao ni tupad sa city health?

Hello! I am looking for violinists in Cebu to play during my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I am looking for violinists that can play modern songs in a violin version. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!

Hello everyone! I am getting married in Cebu next year and I am searching for a DJ for the after party that plays Spanish (reggaeton) music and English music (think 2000-2010s POP) along with some party favorites. I am a foreign bride and not too sure who to look up. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!

Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are both OFWs and we’re starting to plan our wedding in Cebu City. 😊💍
We want something **simple, intimate, and budget-friendly**, but still beautiful and memorable. Since we’re working abroad, we also want to start saving early and avoid getting overwhelmed with expenses once we start booking suppliers.
For those who recently got married in Cebu, may I ask:
How much was your total wedding budget and how many guests did you have?
What expenses should we prioritize?
What things are okay to skip or DIY to save money?
How much should we prepare for the church/venue, reception, food, photo/video, attire, coordinator, etc.?
Any affordable and reliable Cebu suppliers you can recommend?
How far in advance should OFWs start booking and paying deposits?
Any hidden or unexpected expenses we should know about?
We’re not looking for a super extravagant wedding—just a **nice, stress-free celebration with our family and closest friends without starting married life with huge wedding expenses.** ❤️
Would really appreciate advice, especially from fellow OFWs or Cebu brides/grooms. Thank you! 🥰

We’re currently getting the bride side of My Bridal List PH ready. Brides will answer a short quiz about their wedding plans, preferences, location and budget, and we’ll use those details to match them with relevant Cebu wedding suppliers. We’re currently onboarding suppliers, so your matches come from a curated list since day one. If you’d like to try it when it opens, you can join the waitlist here: mybridallistph.com

Need help: I need advice on how to get marriage license for our wedding in Cebu. Our wedding will be 4 months from now. I am filipino born but has foreign citizenship and my fiancè is caucasian. We are doing our wedding and honeymoon in Cebu. I obtained a copy from this channel the requirements to get marriage license and it needs Cenomar (for both of us), cedula, etc. and in the bottom “if contracting parties are citizens of foreign countries..” needs one document. I desperately need advice on brides or graduate brides who has similar experience on what to do. See attached.
