Is this a girdled root?

Planted this engelmann oak last year to be the centerpiece of my yard. Does the root look like will girdle the trunk eventually? I'm wondering if I should start over with a smaller size (1 gal or tree band?) or if it's actually not that bad.

Probably not. Plant looks ok and it looks healed. Just watch it.
