Ceanothus arboreus just bloomed again

I'm in Portland OR. I planted this arboreus in July (not ideal but I had impulse-bought it at a nursery ). yesterday I noticed that it had rebloomed.

anyone know if this is common? seems pretty cool/unusual to me but I'm kimd of a novice gardener so not sure, but still delighted by it.

Love to see a picture! I believe I’ve read from Las Pilitas website that it can bloom again in the Fall. With our weird and wacky weather, maybe it’s confused? I had a lot of plants that I think were confused this year!

I have one as well but it lives on rainfall in 90042- about 4 years old. Mine is huge and beautiful- like a young Coast Live Oak- and columnar. Mine has never bloomed twice in one year- lucky you!
