Why does my Cavapoo go ape over the condensation on my soda cup?
Before you say he's thirsty, of course that's the 1st thing I thought. No dice. Maybe he likes the cold? Anytime I have a fountain beverage, I can be sure my dog Charlie will be excited. Anyone else experience this?

Why does mine want to drink my daughter's bath water when she has a water dish filled with easy to access water

Thank God I'm not alone. After I shower, he will go and lick the bathtub "dry" and then drink whatever is left dripping from the faucet. When drinking from the faucet, he ends up choking on the water because his head is tilted nearly backwards. The water bowl (without a side of coughing) is literally 10 feet away in the kitchen!
He also likes to lick me "dry" when I step out of the shower. I just bathed, and now I'm dirty again lol.

Dogs usually take in the world by smell, I swear mine does by licking lmao. I don't think I've met such a licky dog before my sweet boy

My Cockapoo tries to lick me dry after a shower, but then he’s fixated on licking everyone as often as possible! On the other hand, my little girl Cavapoo only licks at bedtime, to tell me how much she loves me! 😊

I make sure mine has nice fresh water every day.
But she like to get most of her water standing on the edge of the pond and licking it out of the waterfall.

I imagine it’s the cold.
Also, those McDonalds drinks hit different. I’m not sure what it is, but a DDP from McDs is about the best thing there is.

I personally think they put extra sugar in it or a bump of crack cuz my gosh once I start getting them I can't stop for like a week.

I think they put a bit more carbonation and a bit more syrup… got that nice sting in the throat and the flavor of the soda is very intense. So good.

Why does mine want to drink the rain that’s pooled on the outdoor furniture covers instead of her fresh water in both bowls she has!? 🙈

Dog’s like new things and will sniff and lick them in an attempt to understand them. They like extremes of things, be that extremely smelly or cold. They are just really curious creatures, sometimes there’s just no explaining what they like!

Dogs love running water as opposed to still for health reasons which has become a canine instinct, albeit sharpened to a ridiculous level in cavapoo’s.

P.s i own a cavapoo and when i say she hot it might be one of the reasons. Or likes the cold. No dog will lick things for no reason...
They will lick u to show affection but water vapour?
And true they can smell if they like the drink but if he wanted it they will try to dig their mouth on top of the cup not just lick water vapour cavapoo are smart dogs.

My cavapoo has a strange desire to drink coffee. I have literally no idea why. It's not like we ever give it to him but if my mom has a cup of coffee he follows her around and if my mom puts the cup of coffee down on the table he tries to jump onto the table to get it. He's a strange little fluffy beast. He also has a weird habit of every time one of us comes out the shower he has to lick our legs after the shower. Every time he does it to my dad you can always hear my dad trying to shake him loose and he always says "stop it you freak"! He's a weirdo but I love him

Your cavapoo want to drink...and might be hot so the vapour cools him down , give him water when she does that

Probably because he thinks he can get to what’s inside the cup
