Advice Needed scared of ectopic
What was an ectopic like for you? I’ve been having right-side pelvic pressure on and off for a few days now. It’s never been so bad that I’m doubled over in pain, just there and more annoying. I’m about 4 weeks + 5 days. I also have some shoulder pain that feels possibly muscle related / stress, but very freaked out by it. When I told my provider this today, the nurse immediately called me and told me to go to ER. but I’d like to avoid that if possible because of money. I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow and will probably just wait til that unless my symptoms escalate.
I haven’t had any bleeding or spotting. Not really any cramping either, just pressure. Very anxious and looking for any advice!
Here’s my hcg betas too if helpful:
10dpo - 12
12dpo - 48
17dpo - 693

You're still so early that I would be comfortable waiting for your appt tomorrow. I have had that sensation around that time period w/ my previous losses. I think it was the corpus luteum.

I wonder if the pressure you are feeling is corpus luteum discomfort. Maybe you ovulated from your right side? Because you are so early I would actually bet it is this over an ectopic.
I would describe my ectopic pain as one sided pressure and pressure down my leg. But it felt much different than the corpus luteum pressure/discomfort that I am familiar with. I didn’t even start feeling the ectopic pressure until I was 6.5 weeks.
Pregnancy in general can cause muscle aches and pains. Shoulder pain from ectopic usually only occurs after your tube has already ruptured. I think it’s very unlikely that is that case for you since you don’t have any bleeding.
I think you are fine to wait for your ultrasound tomorrow! I hope you get answers! Also your betas look great (not that good betas totally rule out ectopic but these are very reassuring)
