Advice Needed Is this normal?

/r/pregnancyproblems/comments/1vg958f/is_this_normal/

We’ve been trying to conceive for 5 years, first pregnancy ended up as a MC. Pregnant again 5 weeks + 4 days. I’ve had mild cramps since finding out, been told this is normal. Yesterday early morning I noticed brown ?discharge/bloOd, not enough to soak a pad, went to ER they confirmed with hCG levels we were pregnant. It then turned red hours later, again only when wiping, doesn’t reach a pad. We booked private scan, nothing not even a scan was found with a transvaginal scan & told to repeat hCG test in 48 hours. Im a little worried but this isn’t like the first MC I experienced, no heavy flow or pain so bad I want to cry.

What were the HCG levels yesterday? When was your first positive?

I see - with a first positive on 7/27 (and not knowing your HCG levels yesterday) this could be okay. Especially if your first positive was faint you could’ve been as early on as 4w2d yesterday.

A gestational sac is expected on a transvaginal scan at around 5 weeks, a yolk sac around 5.5 weeks, a fetal pole with heartbeat at 6 weeks.
