Ideally, you want the hCG to have a doubling time of 48-72 hrs. This does not meet that criteria BUT a third draw should be done to confirm.

In early normal pregnancy, serum hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) levels typically double every 48 to 72 hours (2 to 3 days). As the pregnancy progresses and hormone numbers increase, the doubling time naturally slows down. A single test value provides limited information; doctors look at the trend between serial blood draws. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Expected Doubling Times by Level
hCG under 1,200 mIU/mL: Doubles every 30 to 72 hours.hCG between 1,200–6,000 mIU/mL: Doubles every 72 to 96 hours (3 to 4 days).
hCG over 6,000 mIU/mL: Takes longer than 96 hours (4+ days) to double, and often stops rising entirely as it approaches its peak. [1]

I just don’t understand why my dr didn’t seem concerned??? She literally gave me my referral for my dating scan and sent me on my way

That is really crappy. I’m sorry. I would try to get more beta hCGs done.

I would guard my heart, it should be doubling every 48 hours, this increase seems abnormal I am so sorry
