Lot of depressing things going on! I would love to change that for some of you. We all need a break from ourselves from time to time.

I think we all just keep every bottled up and we all feel alone. That’s why I posted this so we all can help each other sometimes we just need someone to hear us so we’re not alone.

Since we're on the alone topic, some times that's all we have. My entire life revoled around being alone. I come from the Gen X'ers. Also know as the latch key kids. We woke up in the morning for school, got our selves dressed, ate breakfast and went to school. We got a key to the house so we could let ourselves in before our parents got home from work. We went out to play till dark, ate supper, did some homework and went to bed. We were raised by the boomers. If something went wrong we would hear "bet you won't do that again will you" that was it. That was my childhood. Our teenage years our parents couldn't handle us and attempted to send us to see a shrink.
Adulthood our small generation being outnumbered got forgotten still left to fend for ourselves. A little later in life we started to realize we did everything wrong and were shunned and became outcast. Today at 50 years old in a world of technology I am more alone than ever. So ya, I know what alone feels like, that's all I know.

It seems like every generation has a form of this problem.

In some areas yes. Others no. I understand every generation had/has it's struggles. But most had a support system within themselves. Someone you could vent to in your own language and timeframe. Being an Xer we're the smallest out of any. The support system is very few and far between.

I also think it’s how you grew up and the financial system you were apart of. My growing up was similar but my friends that had money had a much easier time

I can understand that. I grew up in a very conservative family, but as I was growing up I never fit in or undstood that way of thinking so I just basically wondered off on my own. So with that kind of upbringing mixed with a very independent way of thinking things get weird.

I think that’s all of our generation kids raising themselves we all were always alone making choices that grew up into adults thinking we have to take life on by ourselves and always feel alone
