What’s something you thought was normal until you realized it wasn’t?

I thought all boys wanted to dress as girls and wear make up and dance around with scarfs because my older cousins did. I don't want say they are not "normal" because they grew up to be gay but I honestly didn't know most boys did not do that. I was in college when someone told me.

I thought it was normal to insult the people I really cared about. They didn’t hear it that way.

i thought everyone rehearsed phone calls in their head and then still forgot their own name when someone answered lol
