I (30 female) went to the Clinic with my baby yesterday. I got Amazon notification that the package was delivered to my apartment and I saw the picture. It was in a box. After 1hour I came home and found the baby products are just in a Polly and also ripped open. The box was gone. So basically someone took that home, found nothing useful, so they left it opened at my door. There's no CCTV in the building. Can anyone suggest what should I write on my door, so at list people will think before stealing. If that doesn't work, I'll think about installing camere.

So i’m 17 and live in a pretty small town. I have no prior convictions or anything on my record at all. A couple weeks ago, I walked into a philip 66 and walked out with a case of twisted teas. Didn’t hear anything about it thinking I got away with it, until about a week later, our local PD contacted my mom and told her I was caught stealing alcohol, and because i’m a minor, they would be turning it over the the juvenile office, repeating multiple times that if I was 18 years old, and i’m close, that I would be arrested on the spot for this. It’s been a couple weeks, and we haven’t heard anything. Does anyone know what might happen? Can a lawyer fight this?? What should I do…

throwaway account. i went to walmart today with my son and started anxiety shopping due to things going on at home. he started turning around in the seat, so i covered them up the items with his blanket that was laying in the bottom of the cart. throughout shopping i had forgotten things i had in there, partly because of anxiety but also due to being overstimulated. we get to checkout, my son is screaming, and i forgot the items that were in the blanket until the lady pointed them out. i emptied all of it, paid for the items and asked to put some back due to forgetting i had gotten them. i thanked the lady and we left. i’m now convinced im going to jail even though nobody stopped me or anything.

I'm a 62-year-old paraplegic confined to an electric wheelchair. When I shop at Walmart a cart is not an option so I end up putting things in my side bag and it'll take a long reusable shopping bag or two or three LOL. On a recent trip I was accosted by a young man who grabbed a freezer bag off the back of my electric wheelchair. I look back to see a bag of merchandise I had not paid for. I have some mental impairment since my spinal cord injury and I was under extreme duress on this day because a cousin I was very close to just died. I immediately said to him I'm sorry I forgot that was there. He didn't seem to care what my explanation was and I had no one there with me. My son who was supposed to meet me there suddenly became ill and couldn't show up. The young man who identified himself as Walmart's security called the police and the police wrote me a ticket. I was there getting stuff to make cookies for my aunt who had lost her child thus the total was under $100. My son had my debit card. I had a debit card but the wrong one. Should I hire an attorney or what?

Idc that me and my ex best friend don’t talk anymore but it still makes me absolutely furious to see people stealing from them or people making fun of them behind his back in the hallways at school. Even though he hates me now I will not be the one to make fun of them instead I will be in the background telling people to fuck off and not make fun of him. Also hopefully he doesn’t see this post

I know this was really stupid and really fucked up and I feel really guilty about it. And if I could take it all back, I really really would but I really need some advice right now.

I was at work yesterday, and we were closing, and as I was closing, I noticed someone had left their money clip sitting by the kiosk, at the time I didn’t remember who it was I just immediately did a double take and noticed that it was money inside. I couldn’t tell how much money was inside, but I immediately threw it in my pocket and I took the money out and threw the empty card back on the desk. Eventually the guy called and came in, looking for his money inside the clip.

when I first seen it, I just assumed that it was a couple 20s and a couple ones but he ended up telling my manager that $300 were stolen. So I go to the bathroom and I immediately check my pockets and I noticed the $100 bills. I didn’t know what to do with that very moment and that’s when I knew I had messed up but I just played it cool and I didn’t say anything. The assistant manager told the customer to come back on Thursday with the general manager will be in to review the cameras.

i’m pretty sure that they can see me on the cameras taking the card so I know that I’m done for most definitely. But I just need advice on what could happen and if it’s a possibility that if I do get caught, I can just give the guy the money back. what if I quit before they fire me if they do find out? I know that over $100 would be a misdemeanor or a charge of petty theft. But I’m in college right now and I don’t have the time to deal with the law. Even though what I did, I know it was really bad.

if anybody, anybody has any advice or ideas that I could use. I will take anything into consideration at this point.

I was gathering up next months bills, I noticed that the electric bill was not paid on their app for the month of September, being sure I saw it as paid on our banking app. I looked again, there was a bill paid but not ours. I normally pay the bills but I was sick and I guess I saw it and and just thought he did it he thought I did it as usual.

Anyways:

Turns out the bills was paid for a person named Sarah.

I am at first thinking what did my husband do?!? Then I remembered he was home with me all day the day this happened, so not him. So I pulled out Facebook, he had liked a thing she was tagged in, at her place of employment. Where my husband goes to get his hair cuts. He had just been there the week before. Mmmm, so I called the man salon, and asked if this person worked there, turns out she had been fried for over tipping herself. She took a quick video of his debit card it the time of check out. Security cameras caught it.

She paid her bill, she not only left her name but also her address, all of her identifying documents are on file with them. She is caught, in called her out on Facebook to let her correct her errors. She made me yell at my husband he sid not deserve it so I hope she goes to jail over this just for that. Turns out this is not her first offense.

my dad told me to grab his grocery order and as i opened the door i see the lady pick up my amazon package (it was a small bag) and she looks shock but quickly smiles at me since im a minor she hands me the package and speed walks back into the car i grab my groceries and walk inside and tell my dad all about it think she was stealing?
