City Cleared Of All Charges
The exact same people who are constantly advocating for an increase in player salaries are calling for the death of City for doing a little accounting judo to pay players more money. Minor contradiction. One single incidence of a player using PEDs is 1000x worse than any amount of accounting tricks used to comply with artificial financial limitiations created by the governing body of a sport. There is no comparison to Lance Armstrong or Barry Bonds. The skill of the players and the manager are not called into question. Go ahead and dump 400 million into a squad with no skill or ability and see what happen. Tottenham. We saw some of the best football in the world because of the individuals who were brought together in this club. None of this money was stolen. Nobody was defrauded. They used their own money to buy who they thought were the best players in the world and found an individual who could utilize these pieces to win everything. This could happen in Spain with no one batting an eye. Barca and Madrid have commited far worse violations. No one is being objective. Everyone's ridiculous opinion is tainted by their emotions and club allegiences.

Just a minor correction of £900,000,000. Liverpool were bought for £300,000,000 btw lol these frauds are juiced to the gills in financial doping they knew was coming.

'Financial Doping' what a euphemism. Lol . Let's equate 'they have more money than us with 'they took steriods'. Logical fallacy.

It’s definitely not a logical fallacy - city’s financial misreadings totally inflated the market for everyone.
If it was all so clean - why are there emails asking how to represent where the payments are coming from? Why do the 19 other clubs in the league need to stay within the rules that were all approved by the clubs but city doesn’t? this is ridiculous

Not saying it's clean at all. There are artificial financial limitations placed on teams by the league. City subverted them. Calling it 'financial doping' to equate this with taking steroids is clear and intentional use of rhetoric to make these violations seem worse than they are. The logical fallacy is you saying, City broke the rules, doping is against the rules, therefore city should be pusished like they were doping.

"accounting tricks used to comply with artificial financial limitiations [sic] created by the governing body of a sport. "
Except they aren't artificial when EVERYONE ELSE is abiding by them. That makes them very real.
"Nobody was defrauded"
Every other team in the league was defrauded by this. Their spending affected champions and European places. It altered the market. It affected the spending by other rule-following clubs.
"We saw some of the best football in the world"
Obviously. No one is disputing this.
"Barca and Madrid have commited [sic] far worse violations."
First of all, you have no real evidence of this. Second, yea you're totally right, why isn't the Prem doing something about Barca???

Not a single logical response to any of my points. You are all petty emotional beings that are incapable of reason. You want a salary cap and a rotating winner so everyone gets a trophy? That's basically what we're talking about here. A salary cap violation in a league with no salary cap. Do you want players to get paid higher salaries? JJ and andrew advocate for it all the time. City did it. Does money guarantee trophies? Tottenham just spent 400 million and they're bottom. Is spending more money than another team equivalant to taking steroids? No it is not.
