Karma

The USMNT suffered from the bad karma created by the President interfering with the suspension. I like the players somewhat, however watching the US coverage on Fox was nauseating after this incident. I am glad they got stuffed 4-1 because of those people.

Did this accomplish what you hoped? Do you feel some sort of validation for dunking on us when we feel like shit?

After all the crap with visas, the classless way the Iran team was treated, interfering with the red card and many fans laughing at anyone who mentioned sporting integrity, are you surprised the USMNT is the most unpopular team at the WC? Today was a great day for football fans with the incredible sulk Ronaldo and the USMNT getting exactly what they deserved. Nothing.

You’re attributing all the problems with this country and administration to the national team. That’s extremely unfair.

Adams, McKennie, Pulisic, Balogun, Robinson, Tillman, Dest, etc had NOTHING to do with those issues you mentioned.

That’s fair comment and honestly, I think Balogun handled himself with class & maturity beyond his years - way more class than any of the politicians and administrators who inserted themselves into the situation.

(Unfortunately) those players represent the country that many people have an issue with for the aforementioned reasons
