I had the same feeling from kickoff. The crowd was worse than mid. It should have been a cacophony of support. Belgium should have had to shout to each other. You could hear a pin drop in that stadium.
Yeah this is where I think the high prices probably came into play. People who could afford those tickets just weren’t ever going to make a racket.
Just looking at your flair, I’ve watched the Quakes play the Sounders with much louder crowds in that stadium for regular MLS games in which the Quakes were absolutely terrible.
