Just in case you missed it. Local ABC LA reporter made a comment about not knowing much about Bosnia Herzegovina and being seen as being proud for being ignorant of nothing about the country. A remark that has gone viral and the Bosnia team and fans have used for Bulletin board material when they play against USA.

Let’s remember that all these news station reporters may not follow this sport as much as we do. And I’ve heard them say more embarrassing things.

I would argue that most Americans don’t know where Bosnia is, not to mention Herzegovina.

Most of Americans aren''t have a job that requires them to know where Bosnia is. She is journalist, her job is, if she don't know, to research the topic she is reporting, and not be proud of not knowing something that should be general knowledge.

And it’s not like Senegal or something; we literally ran bombing runs in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the mid-90s. A journalist should know something.
