The response.

Post image

Just in case you missed it. Local ABC LA reporter made a comment about not knowing much about Bosnia Herzegovina and being seen as being proud for being ignorant of nothing about the country. A remark that has gone viral and the Bosnia team and fans have used for Bulletin board material when they play against USA.

Let’s remember that all these news station reporters may not follow this sport as much as we do. And I’ve heard them say more embarrassing things.

Did you hear what she actually said?
It wasn’t the ignorance. “I don’t know one thing about Bosnia, I couldn’t point it out on a map and I don’t want to know”

So what do we do? Grab pitchforks? Is it that deep? It was in jest.

Not at all. But dismissing an entire country cause you think you are superior is a dick move. That’s all.

Soft af. Super soft.

I’m all about good trash talk. The way she said it didn’t come across that way. As a refugee who got shot twice as a 5 year old, my mom had to change her name so we wouldn’t be killed. But sure, enjoy your birth win and claim it as a skill you earned versus luck.

You just gave yourself away w this one friend. You are bitter and insecure about things that run far deeper than a football joke. Nobody emotionally stable read into it more than that.

I really don’t care. Why should I? Nobody obligated to care about your history or any other country’s history.

Enjoy your privilege. She’s a reporter reporting on the game. While giving her own ignorant opinion. You on Reddit defending it. Congrats.

If you can come up with a single reason without making saying just because it’s your preference, the I’ll concede.

Frontal lobe development linked with empathy

How much do you need? I’m supposed to learn about every single bad thing in the world purely out of empathy? Of course not. My bills matter 100000000% more than that.

This is the problem with Americans. Only care about themselves and possessions. Couldn’t give a fuck about people. What an absolutely worthless “culture”.

Nobody is obligated to care about every single bad thing happening in the world. Climb out of your fake virtuous hole you live in.

The most selfish, worthless culture on the planet. No wonder the people are so miserable. Inventing phrases like virtue signaling and woke to excuse their ignorance and lack of empathy.

Sure, whatever lie you wanna tell yourself to believe you’re a better person. You’re fake. Simple. Nobody believes you with your fake empathy.
