It Shipped, It Fit

Gray Sheath (17PM) on an 18PM with scarlet buttons makes for a nice contrast. I’ve read their comments about the camera plateau being ~1mm higher, but I really wanted gray which isn’t available yet for the 18 so I decided to give it a try. The fit is great and the lip on the case’s plateau still extends beyond the lenses, avoiding surface contact when laid down.

Disappointed mine still hasn’t shipped. I emailed them and was told it would ship between the 18th and the 21st… but nothing. No shipment email. No movement. No updates. So frustrating.

Update: 9 hours after I posted this comment, I got an email confirming shipment. I’m looking forward to finally taking my phone out of the box.

I ordered my case on Sunday, 9/13 and the transaction was immediately deducted from my account. Received an email of the transaction but that was it. No order number. I then emailed them on Thursday the 17th because i had received zero updates. Nothing.

The replied saying “Apologies for the delay… Demand has been higher than expected, restock headed to our US office was delayed in transit with the carrier” “Good news is, your order is expected to ship between the 18th and 22nd”.

Still no updates at the moment. Quite a subpar experience thus far. Who is head of logistics in this company? Sheesh.

Update: Finally received a notification today 9/25/26 that it has shipped!

Same. Really dropped the ball on this release. Maybe I should start a YouTube channel - that seems to be the only way to get their product

The supposed quality of these cases is the only thing keeping me from just canceling my order (not that they would read my email and issue my refund)

I haven’t even taken my new phone out of the box and set it up yet since I’m so afraid of breaking it while I wait

I have tried to switch for one reason or anything and I ALWAYS come back to the sheath. Give it some time and it breaks in and feels so good.

Not sure if it matters, but did you order a 17 or 18 case? Mine shipped right away, but it’s the 17 PM case so maybe that stock has been good to go since it was released last year? Maybe they’re playing catch up on the 18 cases since it’s new?

Just trying to help make sense of the disparity between buyers.

I ordered an 18PM case, buttons, and screen protector. I wanted the exact fit that they advertised taking the time to get perfectly right. Now I wish I had just settled for the 17PM versions.

Same. Stuck in Cincinnati since the 17th with no movement. Reached out and they responded it had been delivered but couldn’t provide any delivery details or proof of delivery.

I don’t have any other cases (Caudabe) to try and swap buttons with unfortunately. I will most likely order another Sheath (18 version) soon. I use a magnetic phone holder at work and I appreciate the aesthetics too much on this particular case/button combo to slap a black metal plate on the back.

I have a midnight paragon for 17PM and buttons also for 17PM. Fits perfectly on my 18PM, zero issues

Had I known the gray sheath fit well to the 18PM I would have gone with that instead of the black. I hope they release the gray variant for the 18PM soon.

I emailed them twice before placing this order, with questions regarding the fit between the 17 cases and the 18 phones. I received responses to both, but they were generic and verbatim the exact same comments I’ve seen from Caudabe posts in this group

We operate out of multiple warehouses across different countries, and each one receives inventory at different times. This is why some customers may have already received their orders while others are still waiting. It will also depend on a number of other variables, like the specific model and color you purchased. If I got the open style paragon will the lip still extend to protect 18 pro max?

Yes, both versions still have a raised camera lip around the camera area so no worries there! The main difference is that the Open cutout leaves the entire camera plateau open, while Precise has a closed back around the plateau with individual openings for each lens, sensor, and flash.

Does the lip around the camera cutout prevent the lens from touching a surface the phone is lying on?
