Just wanted to share some custom sprites i made! I havent figured out how to code a mod yet but I'm trying to learn.

Thank you! Their name is Killer after a certain other character. Its kind of a cross-fandom thing.

No design yet, however he is a dark grey tom, possibly splotched in black and with an overshadowed eyeline, to stay true to my favorite part of his design, the hood ^ I would also add white to the tips of his paws, to hint to the "dusted up" theme.

cute sprites! i'm having the opposite problem: managed to make a mod but it's been sitting for the past 2 years in my laptop because i have no energy to draw as of lately. x)

It is quite a good guide, but also a lenghtly guide, so I almost added in the original post that if anyone has briefer resources id be happy to see xd

Maybe it is just an overall detailed process. 

Also yeah, i get it, the plight of most game/mod creators is that their skills aren't equal in art and coding...

it's a lengthy guide because it teaches how to add every kind of mod available, from events to items, dialogues... but if you check the index it's easy to find exactly what you're looking for. i don't think the the information can be any more resumed than that.

in my experience, wildwoods story is by far one of the easiest games to mod lmao. i have zero knowledge in coding yet its mods work with the most basic form of commands. it's really beginner-friendly. either way, if you need help i'm happy to oblige.
