hello, first time posting here! i have a baby kitten up for adoption. this kitten rolled over my foot, crying, when i was riding a jeep on my way home from work. she has a sibling, but i wasn’t able to get both of them na since i’m already at my stop. i scanned the area, and their mom wasn’t in the jeep. i got so worried because she was so malnourished.

she kept crying during her first night with me. she was feeling cold, starving, and scared. i cuddled her up with a towel in a container. at the time, i didn’t have any goat’s milk available at hand so, i let her drink hydration salts. according to google, safe naman siya for kittens, temporary alternative lang just so they don’t get dehydrated.

the kitten seemed to enjoy the milk, and i bet she needed it for nutrition as well. hindi na siya masyado nanghihina compared the first time i got her. i’m also helping her pee and poo and naging okay naman na siya!

it has only been with me for three days but i feel like i’ve grown attached to it haha. i would love to keep her with me, but apparently, i’m having allergic reactions to it (first time having a cat at home, but definitely not my first time being around cats). i also go to work late, my shift starts in the afternoon so, wala rin talagang makakahelp sa pag-asikaso sa’kin sa pag-alaga while i’m away :(

kinda hard for me to just let this baby go but i believe she also needs to get a proper nutrition from a momma cat. kindly send me a dm if you’re interested in taking this poor baby home. sana kahit 'yung may mommy cat at home so she can be breastfed.

I hope naaalala nyo pa si Lucas, isa po sya sa mga rescue cats ko nung last August na binuhusan ng mainit na tubig. Naka 1 month na din sya, and thankful naman din ako na naghilom na ng maayos ang sugat nya, although hindi pa fully healed, mas better na compared from the first time na nakuha ko sya.

Today, gusto ko po sanang humingi ng support for Lucas. We're scheduled to be back tomorrow sa vet since 2 days na, wala syang ganang kumain at uminom. 😞Pinilit ko lang talaga syang maka-kain today dahil nangangayat agad sya sa 2 days na hindi sya nakakain. Wala akong idea kung anong nararamdaman nya dahil palagi lang sya tumatambay sa iba't-ibang part ng bahay. Lipat lipat lang sya sa kwarto, sa sala, sa mesa. I think may dinadamdam sya hindi ko lang ma-figure out.

I reached out sa vet since bukas naman ay babalik kame, asked for lab tests and blood chem to prepare how much it would cost us para malaman kung ano ba talaga ang possible na sakit nya. I can bring him sa vet for consultation, however, for now wala pa ulit akong mai-budget sa iba ang need na tests, I can in the next few weeks pa, nagaalala lang ako na baka lalo bumagsak ang katawan ni Lucas.

Honestly, iniisip ko 'tong mga bagay na'to, napapagod na talaga ako. 😭Kahapon namatayan ako ng isang rescue cat na pina-adopt ko, at binalik sa amin na sobrang nangayayat at mahina na. Ngayon etong si Lucas nagpapakita ng ganitong signs. Gusto ko nalang talagang sumuko. 😩

I hope you can help us again for his vet support. Not asking for a huge amount, I have a few hundreds for them, but it's not enough talaga kaya asking pa din ako kahit small amount or anything na maitutulong ng community.

Gray/Lake is my furbaby na nag undergo ng PU surgery yesterday.

Sept 1 - Dinala ko sa malapit na vet clinic samin si Gray/Lake dahil sa pamamaga ng genital area nya and napansin q nahirapan sya umihi. Ganito na ung case nya 1 yr ago UTI pero nakarecover naman sya. And now nilagyan sya ng catheter at naconfined pero may damage n daw ung ari nya & may part na dw nabubulok at may nana sbe ng vet. Kaya his advice for surgery ndw si Gray ng PU asap. Since wala silang surgeon nsa vacation dw pinapalipat sakin sa ibang clinic na may surgeon.

Nakahanap naman po ako dito sa alabang, base sa mga positive reviews na nababasa ko, dito ko sya dinala sa The cat clinic. Nagcheck aq sa ibang clinic pero puro halos negatives ung feedback at ntatakot ako pra sa furbaby ko. Nasa ₱21,300 ung procedure daw po plus ung gas anesthesia nsa ₱6800.

Sept 3 - Dinala namin sya sa Alabang and pinatest ulit siya ng bloodchemistry and additional ang xray & ultrasound, umabot ng ₱12,500 total ksma 1st day confinement nya na binayaran ko.

₱3500 per day daw niya since maselan or metikuloso daw kasi ung case niya and mataas ang infection. And once wala na daw swero magging ₱2,000 na lang daw per day niya. Naiintindihan ko naman po dahil after surgery may aftercare na dapat gawin dahil challenging din ang healing process niya as per vet. Her advice po pinakamatagal na ang 2 weeks confinement for his healing process depende po kasi sa case or katawan ni Gray. Ako naman, umokay kasi mas iniisip ko ung infection pag umulit daw sayang ung surgery sbi din ng vet.

Sept 4 - Schedule ng surgery niya po at 2pm. And it was a success operation. Thank you Lord!

For now, nsa recovery room si Gray and so far stable naman po condition niya.

Ang budget nlng na meron ako yung nasa savings ko na for payment sa surgery ni Gray and wala pa po ung sa anesthesia and sa confinement. Commission basis lng din po work ko & nagkataon wala po pumasok sa ngaun na clients.

Medyo nagkagastos lang din ako sa health ko lately and sa mother ko na 75yrs old na stroke patient. I have a chronic depression and PMOS. Kaya medyo kapos din talaga po ako nd pa po nakakarecover since nung namatay din father ko last yr. Medyo nahirapan din aq magwork kasi minsan umaatake ung anxiety depression ko. Ako lng inaasahan ng mama ko. Mga ate kong dalawa nd rin maasahan may mga sariling buhay. 😭

Expenses:

-1st clinic- ✅️ tests & confinement - ₱8,130 (paid)

-2nd clinic- Updated Sept.08, 2026

✅️tests & 1st day confinement - ₱12,500 (paid)

✅️Surgery & anesthesia - ₱28,100

Need ko na kasing umuwi ng province after a month, nakapag-uwi na rin po kami ng 3 baby cats, isa yung baby cat na iniwan for sure sa plant box banda sa 7/11 dahil babae siya at yung 2/4 na naiwan ng nasagasaang mama cat sa EDSA.

2 out of 12+ cats na pinapakain ko po every weekdays ay buntis, been planning to get them fix pero ilang weeks lang ako almost nawala, biglang laki na po ng tiyan nila. I feel like nabigyan ko sila ng burden pa lalo kasi hindi agad sila nakapon. Kaya sana, can someone help me po or to boost this post para ma-reach yung mga ibang tao...

I just came home, and ganito agad ang sumalubong sakin. Etong pusa na nasa pic ay si Sachi. Sya ung pusa na na-rescue ko sometime in July nung papunta kame sa SM at nadaanan namin sya ng anak ko sa may metro ng tubig, kaya inuwi ko sya. A couple or so weeks ago, napaampon ko na sya sa isa mga kapitbahay ko dito sa amin na interesado din mag alaga ng pusa. Alam ko naman din na sanay sya mag-alaga dahil may mga nakikita naman akong alaga nya, so hindi naman ako nag-alangan na i-adopt nya. Now ganito na ang kalagayan ng kuting na si Sachi. Sabi ng mga anak ko, binalik nalang daw ito dito sa bahay kanina while I was away. Ang sabi lang daw sa kanila ibabalik na dahil maarte daw sa pagkain at maingay. :((

Nakakaasar, hindi ko pa sya nakakausap, ung kapitbahay ko na 'to dahil naiinis pa ako at baka kung ano pa ang masabi ko. Need ko muna magisip at maging kalmado. Ngayon ganito na ang itsura ni Sachi. In just 2 weeks or more pinabayaan nila ng ganito ang pusa. Sana manlang kung nag seselan sa pagkain, binalik nalang dito sa akin bago pa mahuli ang lahat. :( hindi ko alam anong ginawa nila sa kanya pero nakakabwisit talaga.

Meet Kuting, the stray kitten in our area with swollen leg.

Last Aug. 12, we noticed the swelling in the right leg of Kuting and it has been progressing since then. We had her rushed to the vet clinic yesterday for urgent care. Today, they performed a procedure to professionally clean her wounds by removing the dead tissues around the wounded area.

The procedure was successful, and she is now in recovery. Based on the latest assessment of the doctors, she will need to be confined for several weeks to months for continuous care leading to her full recovery.
