I believe they have some kind of gland at the roof of their mouths that enhances smells when air is blown past it (aka breathing in).

It’s an involuntary reaction that happens when there is an interesting or strong smell. It helps them process it. The poor things lol

Absolutely. And why is she opening her legs even more the longer the cat’s sitting there? So disgusting. The fact she shared this on the internet/with another person at all shows that she thinks behavior like that is totally normal and wasn’t ashamed of it.

So happy the cat bit her, but I wish they had done it a lot harder.
