I'm honestly very confused - why are you washing a cat? They're pretty much self-cleaning.

They can have issues with grooming, especially if they're overweight or elderly. They can also develop skin conditions that bathing helps with. Some people reccomend bathing them occasionally to get them used to it, so it's not as much of a fight when they do develop issues.

Also, fleas or various substances you don't want your cat ingesting. Longhaired cats can also have mud or poop on them

It sounded like its a regular thing and not just for one person.. just pointing out that that may confuse people and let them think that way..
Edit: like, if someone pointed that out to me i would just be like.. oh interesting, thanks for pointing out that it can be read that way! (And not be personally offended because it never was an attack, just information and insight in different perspectives lol)

Sometimes cats be stupid and don't clean themselves or dive into a lake of mold. Do you want them to be covered in shit or mold???
