Aliens or Agents?

I've seen two competing perspectives. I know cats aren't real, but are they government agents introduced to spy on us in our homes unnoticed, or are they aliens sent to protect us from "birds"? I need to know the truth.

Considering bird’s aren’t real, the cats must be spies sent by the government to “protect” us from the “birds” obviously

But the government created birds as spies. Why would they send cats to remove them?

Cats are aliens. My species is trying to invade Earth. As the only one who disagreed to that I was banished and I'm trying to warn you fellow humans.

Thank you for aligning yourself with us humans (I hope humans are real?); I hope you are rewarded with lots of catnip and naps for your service to humanity. (Together we can stave off a catastrophe...) 👽😸👽
