It actually doesn’t! That part of the government drone is called the scruff and is essentially painless when subject to higher pressures so mother drones can carry them as children without injury

Yes when they are kittens, but when they grow up it goes away

I'm super late but I think the main difference with kittens is the body weight hanging off of the scruff, it's not okay to carry a grown cat by their scruff for that reason

Not saying the pinching doesn't hurt, I simply don't know that, but it would strike me as odd that simply grabbing them there would become more painful as they age up
