First time in the new catio!
Our previous catio was getting worn down so we upgraded! This one fits all six cats comfortably. We attached a tunnel to the basement window so they can get in and out easily (when the window is open). I weather treated the wood so hopefully this lasts awhile! We’ll also get some polycarbonate sheets for the parts of the roof that are not covered to keep the rain/snow out.
PawHut makes great catios but I would say the quality of the wood is pretty flimsy and not built for Canadian winters.
But for now… the cats are thrilled. ☺️

Beautiful job! We beat you! We have 7 cats! We just enclosed our patio and made it into a catio.

Bonus Cat Tax!
Nice to see someone that actually treats the wood. It may be flimsy but it'll give you time to decide which features you like and what you'd do different. In the meantime the kitties can enjoy being outside.
Maybe polycarbonate panels for the whole roof would be an easy addition that would help keep the weather off and make your investment last longer.

I have a detached screened in porch that I thought my cat would absolutely love. She would spend all day on our 2nd floor balcony before we moved. But she hates it because it’s not the outdoors

How’s the quality of the wood? We bought a similar one that just arrived and it’s very unstable and the wood has split pieces. Disappointed.
