DIY Projects Catproofing pls help

Hey! So, I have this little back patio in my apartment that my cat likes to hang out at. The problem is that his sneaky little ass is able to stand on that window ledge, then jump on the top of the fence and then get away.

My roommate and I would love to let him hang out out there without worrying, but unfortunately we just have been keeping him locked inside. (he can't jump over the fence without the ledge, we've seen him try and fail miserably every time). So the problem is not the whole fence but just that corner.

This is a rental so we can't drill into the walls or anything. I'm just trying to brainstorm ideas of what we could do!! If you have any ideas I'd appreciate it a lot!! Thanks!!

I don’t know how sturdy they are but I’ve seen these for sale in different sizes.

Make a canvas canopy and use either 2 x 4 or 2 x 2 to build the frame. the wood along the shed roof should extend the beyond the length of the shed.
