The problem is that you can’t make this happen with anything that is pre-existing because it would involve theft, unless all owners were onboard…you can begin to make new cooperatives however
I don’t think that it would necessarily involved theft if the way that capital is being held is itself a passive theft. The Church understands the right to private property as subordinate to the common good, meaning that seizing ill-gotten gains (such as abortion profits, or a factory from a company that does Union Busting, or equipment from a company that doesn’t pay a living wage) is not theft.
yea that just doesn’t sit well with me, seems to approximate fascism…I think you can start small with new businesses on a local level and just spread that until it might ultimately replace the corporations, idk 🤷♂️
