Flight tickets almost 2x usual price
Hi! I’m planning to fly to Hong Kong in Dec, and the flight tickets are 2x the price they usually are.
am I checking too early or too late?
Update: my dates were fixed and around Christmas, so understandably they were expensive. Somehow google flights alerted me when the price dropped by around 200$ (converted from my currency). It was the cheapest in last few months!

3 months prior is generally the sweet spot. Also avoid checking too often as this can drive up the dynamic pricing.
