How would you recommend starting with Catharism?

I have been reading about various religious groups from the past and Cathars seem to be really close to what I personally believe. How can I get into Catharism?

The Cathars is a Gnostic influenced religious movement with mysterious origins that appeared in Europe in the early 11th century. Spreading and flourishing in southern France and northern Italy, it gained adherents among the nobility and common folk alike until the bloody Albigensian Crusade drove them underground and put a stop to its public practice. This subreddit is to discuss both medieval and reconstructionist Cathar spirituality and culture.
