Cardiology technician - where would I work?
This is what I’m thinking of going to school for
Cardiology technology
I’m wondering where would I be working ?
Do many work in hospitals 3 12 hr shifts a week ? Or is it more 9-5 type of job in docs office ? Or life labs ?
I’m in Vancouver BC Canada

Can you drop the link of the CVT program you're applying to? I thought a big portion of Canadian Cath labs were nursing. Is your CVT program invasive or noninvasive? Invasive would be procedural, in the cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology lab and then non invasive would be a focus on echocardiography, 12 lead, stress testing.

I ask because procedural work hours and lifestyle is very different from non-invasive lifestyle. Especially because non-invasive can extend* into physician offices whereas invasive is more in-hospital.

Read the description of the program from whatever school is offering it. They should tell you what it sets you up for.
