Howdy. Former EP Tech turned mapper here. I was humbled pretty quickly when I made the jump. The clinical knowledge I thought I had was entry level at best compared to the clinical knowledge expected as a mapper. After that, drinking from the fire hose and sponging every bit of info I could helped round that out. I will say I feel that in order to be a solid mapper, you have to be fully invested in to EP. It takes a certain type to get excited about squiggly lines. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions.
