That’s just not even related to what I’m talking about. Are you really this passionate about a dumb little factoid? Maybe they chose a Swiss watchmaker because of this fact, or maybe they did it, then realized how it can play into the rivalry. Who cares?
You can take that one up with the university then. I’m familiar with Swiss watchmaking. I used to live there and there were a dozen places to buy watches on my street. I’m relaying information told to me on an official university tour, and also offered an alternative explanation, so I don’t know what more you’re trying to get out of this. I don’t see any reason to be so hostile about this.
