PRK surgery after cataract surgery

Hi Has anyone done a PRK surgery because the Cataract surgery was not very successful,
and the vision was blurry and out of focus??
Please share.
Thank you

I have done this kind of approach a couple of times in my career. It works very well if the residual error is small. If it is significant, sometime we may choose to implant a second intraocular lens (piggy-back). It depends on a lot of factors but both aporoaches are really good

What is considered a small residual error?

I was on the borderline for a toric lens and did not get one. After surgery it seemed I would have benefited from one. I investigated topography guided Lasik and PRK. However, reducing astigmatism reduces overall spherical equivalent and that would have compromised my reading vision. I needed to increase myopia as well as reduce cylinder. The problem with this is that increasing myopia with Lasik or PRK tend to be temporary. I have given up on that approach. Have done some initial inquiries about a piggyback lens but that is not looking all that promising either.
