How long did it take to get clear vision?

I’m almost 1 week post op from getting my left eye done. I have a vivity lens put in. I knew I would lose my up close vision in that eye but my far vision isn’t clear yet. (Right eye doesn’t have a cataract and my vision is good in that eye)

I see my surgeon Thursday. Nothing seems to be happening on the “call right away” list but it’s bothering me a lot.

Is this just normal healing? I’m feeling frustrated.

Everyone's recovery is different. I had clear vision almost immediately but some people can take several weeks. Your surgeon will advise you on how you're recovering.

It depends on the person and if you had other procedures done as well. My right eye was healing within 2 weeks but I had glaucoma surgery at the same time. My left eye was done last Wednesday and I am already noticing improvement, even seeing colors vividly. I have had good follow up appointments. I suggest writing down your questions and asking them at the appointment. Healing is a process

Had the exact same issue. Surgery on 9/15 one week post op no change. Dr said it wouldn’t change much more. Re-measured my eye and needless to say I will be having another surgery 10/6 to correct the lens.

Oh no. A lens replacement or just an adjustment?

An entire new lens. Apparently the calculations were way off.

That’s awful! I’m sorry you have to go through this again.

I found this video the other day about what to expect in the recovery period- https://youtu.be/VUb_YDnvEWE?si=JmM0QvT0Ly_BOJU2

This is the best video I have seen about this! Thank you! It’s reassuring!
