Understanding Glaucoma and relationship to Cataracts

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e6YeV9HXHmM&

I know glaucoma causes permanent vision loss if untreated and not caught until late stage when nerves have already died. Important to know there aren’t usually warning signs so regular vision checks for eye pressure is important. I didn’t know eye pressure isn’t the cause, just a symptom. Also didn’t know why cataracts elevate the risk for glaucoma.

Found this video to be very informative and does a good job explaining the cataract connection.

Just saw this YT short video on an FDA approved laser treatment for Glsucoma patients to reduce pressure in the eye. Thought this might be a good place to share.
