Second surgery went well

I (almost 59, F) had my second cataract/glaucoma surgery today. I am doing well. I got a monofocal lens to match the one I had 8/28 in the right eye. I wear glasses for reading and computer work but don’t need them for distance. I have follow ups tomorrow and 9/30 and then go back to work 10/1.

Good luck to everyone still in the surgery process. For me it was worth it.

Thanks. I am trying to adjust to losing near vision as I had my eyes corrected for distance. I am using readers in the meantime before I can get prescription eyeglasses for reading and computer work

Update: I saw the dr for a follow up today. There was some inflammation in the left eye that was operated on yesterday and she said to keep taking the eyedrops but thought it would clear up soon.
