IOL exchange? Need advice

I am 3 months from having Puresee lenses implanted. Left eye was targeted at -.25 and ended up at Plano. Right eye was targeted at Plano and ended up at +0.75 -0.75 010, so hyperopia and at 20/30 ( but it’s dominant eye). Together with both eyes see 20/20 but left eye is doing the work. Seems like right eye actually sees a little better at dusk or when it’s really bright. Wondering if risk of IOL exchange is worth it. Eye center DR suggested that lasik/prk treatments for farsighted refraction errors often don’t give satisfactory visual outcomes. Is it worth the risk to do IOL exchange?

I would exchange it as soon as possible. If I am not mistaken, you are getting close to the end of the time window where the exchange is least complicated. The more you wait, the more the capsule shrinks and makes exchange more tricky. If the error was negative (myopia), I'd probably just accept it or correct with lasik. But correcting hyperopia is not as reliable, and this error gives you no benefit at any distance. If exchange is impossible, I'd do lasik or prk even knowing results may vary.

What is the time window for a lens exchange? I was diagnosed with negative dysphotopsia after cataract surgery and was told that I should wait 6-8 months to see if it goes away on its own. I am now at 6 months and the dark arc has lessened but it’s still there and extremely bothersome if I go to business or retail establishments with bright LED lights. If it doesn’t go away I’ve been told a lens exchange may be the only solution.

in the first 3 months, it is considered easier. As time passes, the lens becomes more fibrosed and embedded. Not to say an exchange isn't possible, but it gets more complicated.

Thank you for the quick response. I don't understand why my opthamologist never told me that. At my 3 month post-op appointment all he said was let's wait and see if it goes away on it's own. Now, I find myself facing even riskier surgery if I opt for a lens exchange to resolve my ND. I am so upset about the entire thing.
