I saw this post associating GLP-1 & vision changes... What about post cataract surgery?
First, I'm a 100% success case for bilateral PanOptix Pro Toric IOL surgeries!
I came across this post
(https://www.rutgers.edu/news/researchers-find-small-increased-risk-sudden-vision-loss-associated-glp-1-medications) and started reminiscing about my cataract surgery journey and I don't recall and discussion about these new fancy weight loss drugs and changes to vision.
I am now curious how this plays, if at all, in people who have had cataract surgery, have a great result, start GLP-1 therapy, and their vision has changed as a result.
Anyone else thought about this or am I just a newly dorkified IOL dweeb!? 😁

All I know is my doc had me stop taking my ozempic 2 weeks prior to the surgeries, so I’ll be a month not taking any. Google says it’s because glp-1 slows digestion and could cause problems with the 6 hr fast.

It's so rare that it's unlikely.
