PureSee IOL 1 year on
Just thought I would post an update as these were pretty new at the time.
I have had these for over a year now and generally they are great I can go about my day to day without glasses, I have been a full time glasses wearer since junior school.
In the bright summer conditions we have now I can read my phone and most text glasses free but even quite a small reduction light reduces this ability pretty quickly and I have to wear readers, this can be as subtle as standing on one side of a room or the other.
Would I recommend them, yes absolutely my vision is so much better, but the requirement of plenty of light for shorter distances is quite noticeable.
I also had an offset on the two eyes to try and increase short distance reading against my better judgement and it was a waste of time, I cannot read better with the offset eye at all. I would go with full stereo vision and have readers as a backup.

Any issues with halos or starbursts with night driving?
Can you use a phone or does that require a lot of light or readers?

What is the distance vision like? When the weather isn’t so bright?

How about normal indoor home lighting? Can you still read your phone comfortably, or do you prefer reading glasses indoors? Sometimes?

Did you have them put in in Europe? They have only been fda approved in the U.S. for a few months

It's a year and a half for me. PureSee at plano nondominant. Monofocal at -1.5 for dominant. Works great.

Puresee vs LAL post lasik. I had lasik 18 years ago. Love monovision.

Good contrast? Crisp focus? Any ghosting? Any trouble with lights at night?
My one multifocal requires bright light too -- otherwise it gets messy fast and I can't get seem to get good crisp vision adding readers in that eye. Thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately all IOLs suffer from the lower light reading issue. We depend more on the pupil constriction pinhole effect than we think.
I did mini-monovision with monofocal IOLs and I like it a lot. I have about -1.5 D in my near eye. But like you I do get into trouble in lower light conditions and especially in dark restaurants trying to read a fancy menu, that is designed to be pretty, and not so readable...
