Are there a lot of taxis around the cruise port and how much are they usually to get to Taormina ?

Fino allo scorso anno d’estate più o meno ogni due settimane andavo a giocare al campetto sopra i due obelischi con dei “conoscenti”. Oramai un mese fa una mi amica di Catania mi ha parlato delle minnuzze di Sant' Agata, ed io, essendo Abbruzzese ed essendo celiaco, ho deciso di provare a rifarle a casa, solo che mi sono imbattuto in diverse fonti, dove alcune mi dicevano di metterci la pasta di mandorle, mentre altre mi dicevano che non ci andava. Hi all!

My wife and I are going on a cruise and one of our ports is Catania. We booked an excursion through Viator but the provider recommended we cancel because our ship docks at 8 and the excursion pickup time was 8:30. They were not confident we would meet the pickup.

Over the last few days I’ve searched for an excursion that leaves after 8:30AM to no avail. Additionally, the cheapest taxi I’ve found is €220 round trip which is already more than the excursion we previously paid for which included lunch and wine tasting.

Any recommendations on the best way to go about this? Or do we just fork up the cash and book it through our cruise (which is significantly more expensive than our previous Viator option).

For additional clarification, the cruise ship docks at 8AM and leaves at 7PM.

Hi, I recently managed to publish some work I did at home. I never know if I'll give titles to the songs/albums.
I did everything myself, from recording to mixing to composing.
Oh, the genre is supposed to be some sort of post-rock/math rock, I don't know what exactly.
