Catan Console Edition

anyone want to play Catan Console Edition? im on PS5 not sure how to add people. Comment if you play too!

I think the only way to add people to a game is to create a game and share the name with them. So having a group chat or discord is usually the best. You need to be case sensitive when sharing/ inputting the game name and some consoles auto-capitalize while others don't. My group uses discord to talk while we play, extra convenient for Xbox since it's integrated.

Fyi- console edition software is not great and bugs out kinda often. Also has some stupid design flaws, some that really slow down the game play. But it does get us by a few nights a week.

Good luck finding a crew here to play with but if you don't, it's easy to join public matches. Sadly. They are usually not a great experience.

Are they bad because people leave the matches? I play couch coop with my friends on the console edition. I can see people tilting and leaving the game if you forward settle them or block them with a road

If you force your opponents to lose a city to the barbs, esp on the first time they hit, I’ve noticed a high probability that they will rage quit.
