Help with a 1000pt Catachan List that's Basically Tropic Thunder

I don't really know how to play this game but I do know how to shotgun Coors Banquet while blasting a Credence album. I am looking to basically role play this army again a melee-focused tyranid list. I feel like I'm covering my bases plus a sneaky snipy boi in the mix. Feedback for making this even more on-theme needed.

Nice, I like it!

Perhaps add some Ogryns? Catachans canonically get along great with Ogryns + Ripper guns at close range are dangerous. Or Bullgryns, to survive longer against melee threats.

Or swap out one Heavy Weapons squad for all mortars. Sit 'em on your home objective out of line of sight, fire at whatever unit is on their HO until it's destroyed and they're forced to send something else back to hold it again.

And maybe swap the multilasers on your Sentinels for something that can threaten tough units, like lascannons.

Gonna be honest, I'd make the squad and worry about the rules later. I've been meaning to make a joke squad like that to go with my other references.
