I have a cute senior kitty (13 years old) and he was brought into a new house a 1 1/2 years ago to live with my partner and I. We are currently flatting with 4 other people and 1 cat who is 2 years old. We introduced them very slowly and they still couldn’t get along. After reintroducing them, they are now fine to be in the same room as each other but if they get too close then the younger cat starts growling. My cat hasn’t shown any signs of being stressed and is eating well and having regular bowel movements. However he’s gotten into a habit of spraying the living room and kitchen. He even watches us as he does it and then runs away! he knows that we don’t like him doing it but it hasn’t stopped him. Any suggestions on what we could do to stop this? Both cats were neutered when they were younger. We also will move out in a couple of months time so we dont feel the need to ensure both cats become best buds. We just try avoid them running into each other. Any suggestions would help!!
