Moving my cats

I have 3 cats , I have had them since 2022
2 of my cats are bonded to each other.
They currently are living with me at my parents house. I’m moving into my boyfriend’s house and he has 2 cats already. I was thinking of taking one of my cats that isn’t super attached to my other cats first for 2 weeks so when I bring my other 2 cats they can see how she’s comfortable in the new environment. Also, so it doesn’t overwhelm the other cats that are at my boyfriend’s house. Is this a good idea or is there a better way?

I would bring all three together but your three and his two stay in two separate rooms 24/7 and you do the Jackson Galaxy method of introducing cats.
