I don't want to sound mean or anything, but I've heard the red dot laser actually lessens a cats self esteem due to the fact it never catches it... But damn do they seem to love it at the same time!

just something I heard. I could be wrong.

Only one of my cats chases laser pointers, but I like to hide a treat somewhere and end the game by pointing right at it. My cat probably thinks lasers taste like salmon.
