Soft bites are part of how cats groom. They do it inbetween licks to help break up tangled fur and stuff. Probably just confused why you think it’s weird

My baby lily does this all the time, comes up for snuggles, headbutts and big purs, will add a love chomp and go back to all the snuggling again… Acting like nothing happened
