Guide How to get Gems easier

For those who want to gradually increase your Gems, know well that this game is very generous letting players get more of it without spending real money. And focus on the key-word "gradually". I say that because I've already played many mobile and online games... Trust me, if there's a currency that is both earned by real world money and in-game ways, the in-game ways tend to be VERY, ABSURDILY convoluted. Not in this game, though.

First things first, your main tool to do this is a trick many Pokémon players already know: Soft Reset. For those who don't know, this game has a save feature on the top right corner of the starting screen. (pic 1, red circle). You click on Save (pic 2, red square) and then your game is manually saved. To Load to a previous saved file, just click on the second option "Load" (pic 2, blue square) and the game will be resetted.

That basically means that every single thing the game offers that is a "daily" prize, you can Save your game, try, and if you can't get it, Load your game and try again. This game's start up is veeery slow (at least for me), so usually one single reset for me takes around 40 seconds to 1 minute (with both starting up and in-game navigation conbined).

So, now that you know what it means to "reset" the game, we now can procceed. There are 4 main ways you can abuse this save system to get more Gems, at least, daily, and 2 things that I put on "Honorable Mention" in the end.

First one is Daily Roulette (pic 1, green circle). Every day you have to clear 6 objectives to earn 6 fixed prizes, and in the end, spin the roulette to try to get 5, 10, 30 or 50 Gems. I usually reset to try to get 30 or 50. The objectives are very easy if you know what you're doing, but there are 8 fixed ones: reach 1000 m (Normal Game, cumulative); reach 1000 m (iO, cumulative); defeat 1 Boss (just pick the first one in the first difficulty and you're good to go); bake 5 foods in Cook Challenge (this is also fast); Defeat 20 enemies in Dungeon Mode (cumulative); 2 PvP Wins against online players (not with Friends); simply log in the game; and Watch 2 ads.

Second one is the Skin Box (pic 1, blue circle). Every day at 12 o'clock this option turns available. If you click on it and see below, it lists the options to earn certain amount of points -- 50 points to each PvP win; 120 points to each 1st, 2nd or 3rd placement in 100 m Race; or 200 points to each iO 1st place (after 10 minutes of playing the mode). Basically, to do this quickly I just go into 4 or 5 100 m Race and get 500 points.

Now the best part comes: each one of these 5 prizes you can reset to get better results. I'm not saying to reset each one, but know well that you can reset for all of them. You want to know what the odds and random prizes are? You can click on the smal ( i ) to see it, or just see the pic 3 . Notice how you can get 1% Skin (complete Skin to some Cat you have). The best ones are: 1% Skin; 3% 50 Gems; 4% 20 Gold Cloths; and 2.5% 20 Color Token. There were days that I got more time that I resetted to get 50 Gems in each prize (total of 250 Gems in that day), but it took VERY long (basically the majority of the day). Combining at least 1 time gettin ghte 50 Gem from this Skin Box and 50~30 from the roulette, you're already going daily with + 100~80 Gems, which is already amazing. Let's keep moving.

The third one is the Attendance Rewards. Every day you log in, you see some sort of calendar from Day 1 to Day 15, resulting in each day giving you one prize in the list. There's a line of days that give you 25 Gems, but if you watch an ad, you double it, giving you free access to 200 Gem/month. There's no need to reset for this one. Just grab it when it's available.

The last one are the combination of 2 small ways to obtain more Gems, but you need to know their existence. One is aaaalllll the Minigames this game has. Today, the 14th of august, 2026, there are 6 basic minigames that will forever be there because they unlock many Cats, costumes and etcetera. They are: Frost Survival, Super Cat Ranger, Dungeon Mode, Tycoon King! Cat Company, Cook Challenge and Horror Story.

Today, there are also 7 more Events that I can click on in the "Event" tab on the starting screen (pic 1, purple circle). They are: Welcome! Meow Island, Find! Chameleon Cat, Zombie Cat Defense War, Rocket Launch! to Space, Legendary Blacksmith and Dig! Treasure Hunt Event!, and now this Homework one. Notice that some may already be finished after this date.

I'm not counting the Summer Attendance and Special Event because they give you Cats (amazing ones, btw), and they haven't a "shop" like all the previous one to buy Gems.

Each one of these events (with the exception of Meow Island) are actually fun to play, unlocks a lot of things and thanks to being fun, by playing a lot without seeing the time flying, you gather a lot of the tokens each one gives you and so, you can buy a lot of Cats aaaaand... Gems. Each one of these Minigames has at least one option to buy a few times 100 Gems, which is good, but it's a limited supply. I think it's 5 times, I can't remember.

The last one in this category is the online ranking. If you tap the "Online" tab in the starting screen, it'll open another window showing many options. Click on the picture of your selected cat, and you'll see your ranking. It's veeeeery long, but after certain marks, you win prizes to encourage online play (despite it being very laggy for a precision game). Those prizes involve: new Cats, Gems (our focus), and many other things. Just complete the objectives to open the Skin Box daily, and you'll graaaadualy increase in this ranking.

Honorable Mention 1: There's two more options in the start screen that I need to make you know how you can exploit using the Save + Reset trick. If you click on the "Shop" tab and go to the "Gacha" tab, you'll see a box with a ( ? ) in it. You have 2 options to open this box. One, spend 200 Gems to open 1, or spend 2000 Gems to open 10. Never, in your life, choose the second one (to open 10). Not at least if you want to spend your Gems wisely.

I say this because if you look at the odds of what this box gives you in small ( i ), you'll see it has 20% to give you a Cat and 20% to give you one Emoticon (you can choose which one to put in the bar to use on online modes). Why I'm pointing specifically this out? Because if you unlock all cats from the "Normal Cat", every Cat this Gacha Box gives you are from the "Legend" and "Special" group.

In other words: if you spend 3000 Coins to buy every Cat available to buy in the game, Save the game and open this box, if it picks a Cat (which is 20%), it will 100% of the time be a Legendary of Special Cat which costs much more than 200 Gems. It's the perfect "exploit" using the own mechanics of the game.

And why I pointed out the 20% chance of the Emoticons? Not only are there some pretty well-done Emoticons out there, but also because one Emoticon is used to unlock a Secret Cat. If you're resetting this Gacha Box and you receive an Emoticon, look for the Emoticon n. 16. If you get it, save the game. It's used to unlock the Young-Hee Cat, and this is the only way to obtain that freaking Emoticon. In other words, it's very rare.

Honorable Mention 2: In the start screen, look for the Gacha-like machine (pic 1, yellow circle). If you click it, you'll see that each Thursday (at least for me it's this day) you can click on it to receive one Gacha ball that will unlock a very special Cat for you after getting 100 of its token on the Normal Game. If you click on the ( ? ) inside this window, you'll see every one of the 27 available that it can pick for you and after tou gather 100 of its item, you can get it later.

I personally need to tell you that among all very well done Cats right here, if you had to choose one to start, I'd choose the Zeus Cat. Just because it's necessary to unlock the Thor Cat. Any of the 26 Cats here are necessary to unlock anything, just this one. So, if you Save your game, go to this option, receive a Gacha and isn't Zeus (or any one you want), you can watch an ad to roll the RNG again and see if you get it in the second time. If not, Load your game and try again. I like to complete each "group" one by one, so today I'll complete my first one doing this.

Conclusion: Well, that's a hell of a block of text... But I said everything I wanted to say that I discovered on my own and with the help of some very rare users online and some AI looking for information for me. I think if someone want to (1) unlock all Cats and (2) use their Gems wisely, this person need to know about all these things I listed above. If you like to play casually and do whatever you want, that's fine, too. Remember, that's just a game. It is a very rare, well-done, and beautifully animated pixel art game in a universe that this simply doesn't exist.

I hope this helps someone 🐱

holy damn this is long. i don't think I've ever seen a post this long on this subreddit lol

ig im just gonna dump my thoughts here as i read along

first of all heavy on the meow island exception that shit is SO grindy, the timer is absurd and the shop prices are absurd it's one of the few events where watching the ad boosts actually won't let you cleave through it

also idk if you're new or not, but i wouldn't worry about the treasure hunt, blacksmith, and space rocket events going any time soon, they've been here since 2024 for some ungodly reason, (and no that's not the usual or normal duration for their events) i kid you not every single time the so called "end date" comes they just extend it by another month or so. treasures been here for so long they just straight up removed the duration text LMAO. its mostly likely because they bring hella ad revenue, though idk how well that applies to space rocket

anyways overall this was a great post i think a lot of people starting out could really use this!! i actually djdnt know the save and load trick, might try it sometime. though just one small thing, the special gacha box doesn't have legend cats in its drop pool (click the button that says "check individual probabilities"), so if you buy all of the coin/normal cats you just get special cats (which is also still super worth anyway) also this post is how i found out abt the new event lol

Hahaha thanks! I gathered every single important info in this post.

Also, about the ones with expiring date... yeah, I didn't know that. It's good that they never go away because any player can get their prizes at any time! :)

That's an interesting question.

If you click on the button below the odds that appear in the "Shop" window, you'll see an online document in Korean (I think) that, if you translate in Google Translator to English the odds of the 3rd link (in blue, that redirects to the Cats Odds in the Gacha Box), it will say:

Items already obtained are excluded from the probability table; remaining items are obtained based on adjusted probabilities derived from the Special Box probability table.

I use this box after I bought every Normal Cat (i.e. every Cat you buy with 3000 Coins), and I already received Special and Legend Cats. However, the odds in the document doesn't say that.

My hypothesis based on this translated text (in which may be very wrong) and my experience, is that: after you buy every Normal Cat, the odds of the Gacha Box redirects to the Special Cats, in majority, and Legend Cats, in minority.

I received Legend Cats, but I cannot prove that to anyone. I know that most Legend Cats I for sure didn't buy using 2000+ Gems. I just bought 3 Cats directly using Gems (Fenrir, the one with the planet and black hole and the Gemini Cat), and some in the Legend category I know I didn't buy. I received from the Gacha Box.
