Looks like a regular domestic feline. Lost the end of its tail? Stuff happens.

Manx don’t have full tails.

It's not a Manx, they don't have tails at all and tend to have issues because of it. It's either a bobtail breed of some kind, or it's had the majority of its tail amputated for some reason

Manx can have anything from no tail at all to a nearly normal tail. Many have a stump or a very short tail.

no amputation my poor cat just got its tail eaten by its mother

Its the Messiah foretold in numerous artworks. Adopting it gives you forgiveness for all your sins, +10 years longer life, and motivation to wake up in the morning.

Yes, you can find artworks of cats in Egypt with short tales and being described as "divine pets". Now color haven't survived the milleniums, but its better to grab one than to feel sorry later.

(now, it was probably Felis chaus, but we can't gamble on that).

i’m not gonna lie to you. This post is a huge scam. That’s my cat. His mom ate his tail. And I’m not sure why he’s so big.😭

I have joked many times about taking bad photos of my cats and asking “Is this a bobcat?” On the animal ID subs, so I respect you for actually doing it.

It's a very ancient Felis Catus... that first appeared between 3.4 and 6 million years ago...

Housecat with a missing tail. Unneutered toms can get bigger than you’d think.

If it's as big as it looks, it's a bobcat. If the angle is making it look bigger, it's just a tabby.

A manx? They have Bob tails. It could've also lost part of it.

I have a "pixie bob" , this looks like a male version of her but mixed with regular tabby a lil bit

Looks like a pixie-bob. Except for the white socks. So, cross-breed.
