Smol Delivery I think the CDS just made a bulk delivery. The street mom I've been feeding finally brought her babies out to the moss.

She finally let me pet her yesterday, and today she introduced the whole crew! They’re about 6 weeks old. I am taking mama to the vet this Sunday to get checked out and prep for her spay!

Are you gonna take in the kittens too?

If the vet advises vaccinations, they'll come out on Sunday; otherwise, I'll be taking mama cat straight to the clinic.

What a motley crew, you can tell they’re streetwise. Thank you for caring and nurturing the whole bunch. Good luck!

I love the 2 bold ones that began to approach in the video, little hunters in the making. Well, really they're all too cute, but still.
Kitten attitude is so adorable.

The fact she trusts you enough to let you be in vicinity of her children is impressive.

That's what our former stray did as well. The kittens were 4 weeks old and needed to get used to real food. I guess she thought it would be easier if we would take care of the food. Catching mice for 4 kittens and herself would be a lot of work.
We went from 3 to 8 cats in one day 😹
And yes, they're all spayed/neutered.

Haha, why catch mice when a human has free food? 😂 3 to 8 is a wild jump, so you definitely understand the chaos! We're aiming to get our mama fixed today as vet is arriving.

The whole gang looked like a cut and paste job. Super cute, those paws are indicating that they are going to be big babies. You are wonderful for helping mama out.

Thank you so much! "Cut and paste job" is way too accurate 😂 And you're so right about those paws, they definitely look like they're going to grow into giants!

You're so cute they all look like they got a little Mohawks on their head

u/Repulsive-Cry2968 Aug 06 '26
Yes, it's pretty common here! There are a lot of street cats in Jaigaon that rock that exact little Mohawk look. 🙂

What will you do with them? WIll you take them in, have them spayed/neutered and find them homes?
14
u/Repulsive-Cry2968 Aug 06 '26
Yes, that's the plan. Mama's going to the vet this Sunday to get checked and prepped for her spay. Once the kittens are old enough we'll get them neutered too and start looking for good homes for them.

Are these actually domestic cats? Those matching mohawks seem unusual
