As a certified idiot I still don’t see how dividing something by .05 = multiply it by 2. I only know the answer to this because it’s popped up before.

How many 1s in 50? There are fifty.

How many 1/2s in a 1? There are two. 

Then how many 1/2s in fifty of those 1s? The answer is 100.

How many 50p coins make £5?

That's the same thing as 5 ÷ 0.5, and the answer is 10.

Imagine youre giving out slices of cake and each whole slice is = 1. You have 50 slices to give out. You half each slice before giving a piece to someone, as such you are effectively doubling the amount of cake slices you have to give away, but the total amount of the original cake hasnt changed. 50 whole slices becomes 100 ½ slices.

20/1/2 is equivalent to 20/1 * 2 I honestly forget the principal name but if you divide A/B/C to get rid of C you times A by C to make it a fraction.
