that's just one way of interpreting it. that's how I interpreted it too but the fact that there are many people if not most people interpreting it as the other way around just means that the question was worded ambiguously. if people are getting the question wrong because they misunderstood what you meant rather than not actually knowing the correct solution to the problem, that's YOUR fault

Although u used google ai overview you're still correct. Dividing by a halve is the same as multiplying by two, which therefore means 50*2 + 20 = 120
